Byou flip the page to see the breathtaking spread I have prepared for you on the other page, I would like to present to you a new song from local poet Bless, which is titled ‘ Imali’.

Born Sibusiso Shongwe, Bless hails from Phonjwane and he has graced some of the giant mediums locally, where he got to showcase his talent.

A poet churnined out another hit song ‘ Imali’ as the support from fans thus far has been amazing.

He is one of the artists whose music has also enjoyed airplay on Eswatini Broadcasting and Information Services ( EBIS) radio stations and he is one of the artists who have been able to bag a live interview on Eswatini Television.

He set a solid print in the poetry industry late in 2021. He shared how it all started and revealed what are some of the previous projects he has done,

“I grew up listening to that kind of genre, but didn’t like it much. It started off as an idea at first back in secondary, where I was intrigued with the idea of delivering a long message through poetry that’s how I started to become a person of extraordinary thinking, the rest is history.

“Since venturing into poetry I was inspired by Scooby The Poet, born Sibonginkhosi Ngwenya. He made me believe in myself when it comes to the writing because he really helped me.”

He went on to say; “I love poetry because it entertains people and I believe that I am very good at what I do, which is entertaining and giving people a good show.

“I love having fun doing what I do best is thrilling. I’ve composed and recorded lot of songs like ‘ Inhlupheko’ and ‘ Ngitsandziwe’ they got airplay in local radio stations due proved quality.”

He further shared what inspired the song that he recently dropped, where he hinted on empowering other people.

“The song ‘ Imali’ is about encouraging people to keep on hustling because things are like a swinging chair in this life, they can keep you busy and you may enjoy doing them but they won’t get you anywhere.

“This was more like saying, use your time now to work on securing a better future for yourself. The song features talented artists in the Kingdom of Eswatini, mainly Double TV who is a vocalist as well as Tn$ Savvy who is the producer.

“Tn$ Savvy went an extra mile to design the artwork of the song. These artists played a major role in delivering strong and relatable message in the song. I was so happy when both accepted the collabo,” Bless said. to ap
