EDITOR’S NOTE...

- BY NOMBUSO DLAMINI

It is better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not.” Love is the best feeling in the world. The serotonin, the endorphins, the adrenaline… I can’t get enough of it. It makes me feel like a queen who has wings. Unfortunately, in the early stages of love, my brain goes funny. My thoughts at the moment are something along the lines of, ‘Wow! I’m the luckiest human in the universe. He loves me as much as I love him. I don’t have to be the best girlfriend in the world so he doesn’t leave me!’ No, I have to be the best girlfriend in the universe if he gives me the exact same love! On top of that I am a mother to the best little and bossiest human being in the world. In was an interesting week for the Entertainment Desk and more than anything a week to be a listener more than a talker. Not only does listening enhance your ability to understand better and make you a better communicator, it also makes the experience of speaking to you more enjoyable to other people.

I trust that all I gained from listening to artists and getting an uncensored feel of what they experience in the industry would make me write better quality stories which come from an informed space. To close off this love month, I would like to give you the best of me and the interviewed individuals. This week we will be leading and showing all the love birds out there that all roads lead to marriage and it all comes together through love.

We honestly can’t stand the ‘traditional’ way of the journey that lovers take and the final destination, but in the most exciting way, we will feature love stories that will inspire you to do the right thing. Accompanying the leading article this week is a feature about a fast rising superstar, Temgazi. Temgazi Nokuphiwa Ntshangase is a singer and songwriter residing in Sydney, Australia, who is currently making waves where she currently resides and across the globe, but moreover she has released new music.

The book review is available yet again this week with our plug, Mlondzi Nkambule, using the best one can find in the physical and online library world. Above that we have our guest writer who we first met last week where he was telling us about how he makes his girl happy. It was mostly about things that he does, but I got to see a few tips that I thought any man could use. I know last week we didn’t have much to talk about, but best believe that this week we will make up for lost time. Page eight and nine is back and we have some great Valentine’s Day reviews for you, especially couples and influential people who slayed on the day. It does not end there, we have a local production company that is cooking up great things and you will not want to miss out on that.

I hope you enjoy reading through this edition of Style as much as we enjoyed putting everything together.
