Nkhaba chief, pastors: Close drinking spots

NKHABA – Pastors and the Chief of Nkhaba are calling for the shutting down of all watering holes in the area.

7his was during the first serYice of the \ear, held at the umphakatsi last 6unda\.

)irst to make the call were the Sas tors who said alcohol was abused b\ the \oung SeoSle in the area.

5eYerend *race 0asilela said the \oung SeoSle were consuming and abusing alcohol.

6he said if \oung SeoSle were drowning in alcohol and drugs, it would be difficult for the chief to lead because he had to Serform his duties alongside the \outh.

0asilela said she had a burden of setting the \oung SeoSle free from alcohol and drugs.

7he reYerend said the issue was with the older generation that needed to reSent in order for the /ord to reign suSreme at 1khaba and all bottle stores and bars be closed. ³7he girls are ruled b\ alcohol and there is a need to rise to the temSle,´ she said.
