MBABANE – Two men facing 10 counts were granted bail fixed at E6 000 each.

David Lebohang Thobela ( ) and Sibongisen­i %rown Dlamini (2 ) all from Sidvwashin­i appeared at the Mbabane Magistrate­s Court facing multiple charges of offences they committed Mointly and individual­ly.

The matter was before Mbabane Acting Magistrate Cha]ile Thwala. The duo is facing offences related to robbery and housebreak­ing.

During their appearance, the Crown pleaded with the court to have the duo remanded in custody pending the setting of trial date.

The bail applicatio­n was not op posed.

On count one, the duo was charged with stealing Temantini 1hlabatsi’s property amounting to ( , act ing Mointly with a common purpose. The stolen items include a grey +P laptop, blue Samsung *alaxy AO2 cellphone and hard cash amounting to (10 . The crime was commit ted on October , 2022 at or near Makholokho­lo where the suspects allegedly used a knife to induce fear on the complainan­t.

0 belonging to Tekhaya Mabu]a, after threatenin­g her with a bush knife. +e is said to have committed the offence on August 1, 2022 at or near Sidvwashin­i.

On count three, the duo is said to have stolen 1othando MatsenMwa’s property amounting to ( 0, after threatenin­g her with a wheel spanner. They committed the crime on Octo ber , 2022 near or at Makholokho­lo.

On the sixth count, the duo working Mointly with a common purpose al legedly stole Ayandiswa Shabangu’s black LCD diamond television, a black 1okia C1 and money, and all amounting to ( 0 while at Maduma.

On count seven, Thobela was charged for unlawfully entering 1omvuyo Msane’s house and steal ing items worth ( 00.

+e also allegedly committed an other similar offence where he stole Mdudu]i 9ilakati’s property worth (1 0 0. The accused also allegedly stole %ongiwe Magongo’s property amounting to ( 00.

On count ten, accused one is said to have intentiona­lly broken into 1on hlanhla Lushaba’s house and walked away with the complainan­t’s items valued at ( 0 while at Man]ana in 1ovember 2022.
