Key2Key debut single rocks radio charts
MBABANE - Eswatini’s newest Amapiano artist Key2Key is having a time of his life, as his first single has received massive positive acclaim following its debut into the Eswatini Top 20 charts four weeks ago.

The song has been steadily rising on the charts, landing on number 12 in the past week. Born Meluleki Dlamini and raised in Ezulwini (Mlindazwe) Eswatini, Key2Key started the art of music production while at school at a tender age of 15.
Things turned serious about two years after completing school, whereby the art and craft of producing tunes on FL DAW turned to be more than passion. Teamed up with another capable artist by the name of B-List in 2020, whereby we identified the name Key2Key, based on how we could play around with the keys of a digital keyboard.
They released the first project as a Duo with B-List in 2020 titled ‘2by2’ featuring Moyanic. which was quickly followed by another hot single which featured Shinely Greenz titled ‘Vuka’.
He eventually dropped a full 13-track album titled Malambane in April 2021. More singles followed the project whereby we dropped ‘Savana ne Hennessy’ and ‘Tjwala Bam’ which were good tunes too.

in 2021 whereby a number of clubs and community Radio/TV Stations were visited for interviews and performances. The last track they worked on as a duo with B-List was ‘ilokishi’ which featured the song bird Nonzwakazi.

“I then started working as a solo artist late 2022, whereby I identified myself as a the main Key (Skhiya) in my production, which led to me dropping my first E.P ‘Skhiya’, which features local artists such as Gusi, Dibo and Miles, who are on different tracks
too,” said Key2Key in an interview.
He has shared the stage with other international artists such as Boity, Uncle Waffles, QMark and Makhadzi, just to name a few.
He mentioned that he was willing to work with more artists locally and internationally, as they share the love and art of music production. His beat making genres ranges from Amapiano, Afro House, Trap and Hip Hop. He is signed and managed by Shicilela Studios since 2020 to current date and still hungry to do more in Music.
MBABANE - Following an enthralling five weeks long contest entered by over 200 contestants countrywide, 106 successful finalists will be proceeding to the last phase.
A customer registration competition for anchor sponsor, Instacash, wherein the top 16 recruiters will automatically form part of the Swazi Praise Volume 2 ensemble.
This was revealed by the competition’s Project Manager, Cleopatra Methula, who stated that training for the same was already scheduled, “We traversed the country, across five venues, and we were humbled by the level of participation from aspirants. We had set out to identify the top 100 best singers, who’ll go on to be trained as Instacash agents, particularly for customer registration purposes, in similar fashion to the Instacash Regional FA
Cups wherein each team had a registration agent,” explained Methula.
She said they were delighted that 106 finalists were eventually selected throughout the country, wherein the Manzini Region drew the highest number of contestants and finalists.
“Training commences this Wednesday at the Mbabane Theatre Club at 9am; Manzini Library on Thursday at 12noon, and Saturday at Manzini Library at 9am. From these dates, finalists may select any that’s suitable for them,” she explained.
After training, which is heavy on product, risk and compliance knowledge, contestants will be given up to four weeks to register as many customers as they possibly can, with the top 16 recruiters winning the final spot to the much anticipated Swazi Praise Vol 2 live album recording, scheduled for late July, 2023.
Meanwhile, Methula stated that the contest was all along had been two-pronged, with the Mother of All Gospel Shows also seeking to recruit the top two finalists.
“Mother of All Gospel Shows aspirants will take part in auditions finale dubbed the ‘eliminations phase’ on March 4, 2023. Twenty artists will be shortlisted. The top 20 artists will go through a voting process where the top two artists will get to work with legendary Gospel artist Nduduzo Matse to record two live singles (including video) at the Mother of All Gospel Shows scheduled for April 29, 2023,” she stated.
