We seem to have so many incon sistencies in this country under the guise of culture tradition. This is in reference to what is happening in chiefdoms. , have heard so many stories from people who have been looking for land to build their homes. , was shocked to hear that one person had been offered land for a huge sum of money.

, was really left wondering how peo ple are e[pected to build when chief dom land has become so e[pensive. ,f one wants to buy a piece of land, he she has to part with a huge amount of money to pay the chief instead of the traditional cow, which the chief doesn¶t want. ,magine how many cows one can buy with that kind of money.

There is still some money to be paid to those who will go and see the piece of land at a set date. What a long and costly process ,f you add all these monies, you can see that this is close to ( . This person hasn¶t started building and yet has had to pay this much. This is not commercial land but chiefdom land.

These traditions cultures can only be preserved if there are custodians who make sure that there is no unfairness corruption in carrying these out.
