Instacash’s vote of confidence for social teams
MBABANE – Instacash has taken a giant leap with social teams’ football in the country, as it has begun rolling out zonal leagues across the country.
The zonal leagues will be established within the eight corridors, that took part in the recentlyended Instacash Social Teams )estive Soccer Tournament. The new independent electronic mobile money provider invested ( on this tournament that ran from December last year until )ebruary 4, this year.
The latest development was revealed by Instacash Managing Director (MD) Mandla ‘Cheeks’ Nxumalo, during the prize presentation of the winners of the second phase of the tournament. The second phase comprised of 1 teams, with half being the champions and the other were runners-up from the eight corridors. Yesterday at the Instacsh’s offices in Mbabane was their day to receive their trophies and cash prizes.

“We want to work in places where you are exactly in, since you are no longer at home. We want to draw closer to your work station.
“So what’s next is the zonal league. They have already begun at Montigny, with their social soccer. We’ll look at the other zones, because the legends are no longer at their respective homes but at work,´ said Nxumalo.
The winner under the Champs of Champs were teams that triumphed in each corridor that included Lavumisa, Nsoko and Big Bend champions Tree Tops. They were awarded a trophy and (1 grand prize. Mpaka Social were runners-up and they got a prize of ( . In the runners-up category, Phum’lamcashi were champions and received a trophy and a (3 cash prize yesterday.
‘Cheeks’ also described the money that was invested towards this tournament as a seed that the company will look at it to sponsor the next edition.
