Make-up has

WITH a new week comes new challenges and I must say that the lessons that I leant from the previous week taught me a whole lot. My quote of this week and one that I hope each and everyone reading this segment would take reads “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.” This past week was a mixture of the good and bad and one thing that life has taught me is that to balance everything out, you need to take the good with the bad.

The Entertainment Desk produced rather interesting pieces this week, with the story on the Copyright Board finally hiring.

This was very important because society would make mention that they had to hire certain individuals, train them then they could get the ball rolling with the collection of royalties for local artists. What was most interesting for me was the fact that artists were really concerned on whether the collection would be backdated and the answer came back as no!

This was even more surprising because in neighbouring countries, royalty collecting can be backdated to up to three years. In more stories there was yet another resignation which even to me came as a shock, Eswatini Choral Association Public Relation Officer, Bandile Maphalala let the association.

It was mentioned to this publication that it was due to other work endeavours and need I remind you that in this same month, ACAESWA President Phetsile Masilela also resigned. The news was shocking and heartrending for both associations, but I must same that they kept a brave face and promised that they would soldier on. I would literally go on about the hot and quite informative stories that we had in the past week but we are here for one thing and one thing only, Style.

What do we have this week? We have mind-picking topics that will intrigue you but also give you a few tricks on the latest trends to look into. We will also have inspirational features that look into one loving their body with all their imperfections. For this week’s edition, we took topics that are usually highlighted on social media but are never brought into context or spoken about in depth. One topic that comes to mind and was featured is one about colourism and how it affects families. I know someone right now is asking themselves what colourism really is and trust me, I got you covered. As the Style family, we have made it our goal to bring you the best of the best in all things love, lifestyle and fashion and we hope that you enjoy reading this segment as much as we enjoyed preparing it. has been a stigma that make-up is solely for bfeumt inoinwemuseenfcoorncseunlttuwriietsh, HERE make-up artists or use make-up tutorials too. n the beauty community, non-binary people show us that the possibilaitrieslimfoirtloeusrs, sntyolme anttdermwahkoe-wupe are. rtistry is a safe space for non-binary people to unapologetically experiment with gender expression through pops of colour, textures, and next-level make-up trends. hen we look at ‘beautiful boys’, the boys or men who wear make-up not Œust for photoshoots or screen time, but because they love the art and even wear it bhett“euretshtaionnfeomf walehse.ther a beautiful boy is gay or not continues to spark a debate in our society. or some, it is seen as a taboo topic, while for others, it is a necessary conversation that needs to be had. he truth is, sexual orientation is not determined by appearance, but rather by feelings and
