MBABANE – Athletes will have more time to prepare for the upcoming Ngwenya Half Marathon.

This is after the race was reschedule­d to a week later than it was initially schedule. The half marathon was scheduled for March 18, but it has been shifted to March 25. This is according to the new edited poster which was copied to this publicatio­n yesterday by Breathe Green Eswatini. The race is divided into three categories namely; the green runs, green walks and green wheelies.

The Green runs consist of 21km and it will start at 6am. For those who wish to be part of the half marathon, are expected to pay E290 per person. For the 10km unicycle which starts at 7am one needs to pay E250 to be part of it.

Under the green walks, joggers will have to part with E250 as a joining fee in the 8.5km and the walk will start at 8am. For those who want to take part in the 5km, they need to pay E200 per person. The green wheelies also offer two mini-categories in the 10km which starts

Registrati­on: Registrati­on opens January 16 and closes March , 2023.

First fully paid 200 participan­ts will receive a goodie bag. Medals to all finishers. Goodie bag collection at the Millin, Mbabane: Friday, March 10 - 1pm to 6pm, and Saturday, March 11 - 9am to 5pm.
