RICHARD’S BAY, SOUTH AFRICA – Jericho Church members should get power to pray and help people from Heaven, not through kwetfwala.

This is according to the Red Gown Sect leader, Archbishop Bhekibandla Vilakati. Before making this statement, the archbishop read Exodus 14:18, where the Bible tells of how the Lord gave Moses the power to lead the people of Israel from Egypt to the Promised Land and how Pharaoh’s army died in the Red Sea.

After reading the scripture, the archbishop then asked all those who had challenges in life to raise their hands and pray with him.

Thereafter, he said there were situations which forced people to go through kwetfwala. He said most of these situations were those that required money.

“What I want to warn you about maJericho (Jerichos) do not go through the process of kwetfwala, no matter the situation you will be in. Ciniselani nibeketele lesimo sitokwengca (be patient the situation shall pass),” the archbishop said.

He said as members of the Jericho Church, they should all take a leaf from the founder of the church, who prayed to the Lord and saw visions on how things should be done. He said whenever the founder was in a dilemma, he would go to the mountain to pray and seek solutions from the Lord. He said this was how the founder of the church founded and established it.

Therefore, he said they should not deviate from the roots and foundation of the church. He emphasised this point by saying personally, he would not believe that a Jericho who prayed and healed people, got those powers through
