TODAY: YOUNG BUFFALOES FC VS NSINGIZINI HOTSPURS AT KALANGA TECHNICAL CENTRE, 3PM

MBABANE – Young Buffaloes and Nsingizini Hotspurs return to action today to replay their MTN Premier League which was cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch at Mhlume Stadium a fortnight ago.

The army side under the tutelage of Mandla ‘Stofu’ Dlamini, come from a disappointing 1-all draw against Seven Dreams at the Prince of Wales Sports Ground, and will be looking at this afternoon’s fixture as a must win for them if they are to stay in the chasing pack for the league title.

Nsingizini Hotspurs, on the other hand, come from their first win of the year, defeating Tambankulu Callies 3-0, where Neliso Mnyeni haunted his former employers with a hat-trick and will be confident going into this afternoon’s match, which promises fireworks.

Finale

This is a game that certainly feels like a grand finale for army side Young Buffaloes, who find themselves relegated to the third spot on inferior goal difference to Swallows.

Buffaloes will be all out to get a win today, to maintain the status quo and decrease the six point advantage that Correctional Services side currently have, with only eight games left for the MTN Premier League curtains to fall off.

It is not an easy game despite the rookies Nsingizini Hotspurs now having dropped their early season sting that saw them earn the giant killers’ tag in the first round.

Incentive

The quality is there for both sides but experience favours the first round incentive winners. Buffaloes also have three high-scoring players in Njabulo Maziya, Sandile ‘Saviola’ Gamedze and Bongwa ‘Owa’ Matsebula. Nsingizini have talented youngsters in Thubelihle Mavuso, Neliso Myeni and Mayibongwe ‘Suarez’ Mabuza, among others, who need to be at their best to change their luck since the turn of the year.
