MBABANE - Professor Thuli Nhlengetfwa was officially conferred as a fully-fledged professor.

$ccording to a statement from the college, this was recognition of her significant role in education in the country and the region
3rofessor 1hlengetfwa started her education career as a pre school teacher after graduating with a .in dergarten Teaching &ertificate at :illiam 3itcher &ollege
She then continued her studies and acquired 0athematics and Science Teacher qualification and taught at primary, secondary and high school (ventually ending up as a university lecturer and rector, she taught at the 8niversity of (swatini 81(S:$ , $0$D, 8niversity &ollege and also Eecome a tutor in Ohio 8niversity in the 8S$ She was the director of the 1ational &urriculum &entre for six years, where she was part of the team that wrote learner EooNs study guides in 0athematics and SiSwati
She was a significant player in the development of the %otswana, /esotho and (swatini mathematics curriculum and teaching and learn ing material of 35,S0 3roMect in Secondary 0athematics
&urrently, she is worNing at puE lishing a series of SiSwati EooNs for young children ,n the ceremony, the professor gave her inaugural pro fessorial speech, where she shared her insights on the role of parents and parent figures in the promotion and supporting education among learners
