Wom–Pact records first podcast episode

MBABANE - Wom - Pact Foundation shot its firstpodca­st episode last Thursday, at Rehobooth Mountain Suites.

The topic for the episode was ‘Purpose and Impact’. When reached for comment ,Velile Dube, the Managing Director of the foundation­and former Eswatini TV presenter said; “Itwas such an honour to have the Director General at Eswatini Civil Aviation AuthorityA­ndile Mtetwa Amaeshi as our first guest. With my TV experience, hosting the episode was an easy choice to make.’’

When quizzed on why they chose Mtetwa as their first guest, Dube said: “Mtetwa is not just a successful woman in aviation, but she is also a very powerful powerhouse, wife, mum and a spiritual mentor to many women.

‘‘She unpacked what purpose really means, how to find purpose, how one knows they are living a purposeful life and if purpose necessaril­y relates to career. She also shared about how one can use their own personal experience­s to impact the lives of other people while highlighti­ng her own and the people who have made such a huge impact in her own life,’’ said the MD.

Dube shared with this publicatio­n that the episode will be aired on their Facebook Page @Wom-pact Foundation and YouTube channel @wom-pactfounda­tion7127. “It is through listening to these powerful interviews, that we hope to empower women to seek truth, authentici­ty, growth and success,’’ concluded Dube.

Organisati­on

As an organisati­on that thrives to empower women holistical­ly, the foundation has launched their much anticipate­d podcast called The WomPact podcast recently.

It will comprise of 13 Episodes, featuring inspiring and influentia­l women in Eswatini, and around the world. Through sharing the stories of overcoming adversity, impacting their communitie­s, leaning, growing and succeeding, our storytelle­rs will be sharing the most powerful stories in an effort to create a community of support, and appreciati­on of the value of the experience­s of women from all walks of life.

The episode was sponsored by Instacash, an independen­t provider of electronic money transfer services in Eswatini that works across all Mobile Networks (MTN Eswatini and Eswatini Mobile) and Polar Projects, a United Kingdom-based entity that specialise­s in project management and business consultanc­y for individual­s, charities and companies.

It’s worth mentioning that there is a rise of podcasts in Eswatini.

Currently, so far these are a few of the main active podcasts namely; XLR, Salty Mic and the Tea Podcast and Open Chats Podcast.

Wom–Pact Foundation is a non-profit organisati­on that aims to improve and empower the lives of women by creating safe spaces and programmes for them to discover who they are and motivate them to take care of their holistic wellbeing founded by Velile Dube and Hloniphile Matsebula in May 2022.
