German
German born and South African based DJ and SA record producer Ralf Gum recently showed interest in the local spinner’s single during a house music show dubbed ‘Addicted 2 House’ which was held in Vosloorus, East Rand Johannesburg. This show featured Vinny Da Vinci and Christos, who played the song that had Ralf Gum intrigued. When reached for comment he said; “This is amazing and it feels humbling to see the single successfully penetrating the market. It looks like it is going to be a big song, so yes obviously it feels great.
This year I wanted to take a more dance floor approach to my music, I have been making a lot of music that has been filled with a lot of sound designs and a lot of depth.
This year I decided to go slightly with an experimental approach to make songs for the club, songs for the floor. It is still me, it is still my sound which is Deep House, but I want to increase the floor element and this song has shown me that it is happening.
“This is a huge playlist in SA and they have made me a cover of the playlist. It feels amazing; it has also been added to Apple music in about three or four playlists. This is really big for me as this is the first time that this is happening and I am looking forward to upcoming releases and getting feature into more playlists,” concluded !Sooks.
