REPS, Way Inn clash in Dixie’s League
MBABANE – Two giants in the Dixie’s International Pool League will tomorrow face off in a crunch league fixture.
These are star-studded defending champions Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) and Malkerns-based Way Inn, who boast big names like national team star Themnbinkosi ‘Mayambela’ Nhlabatsi, Nathi ‘Bhubesi’ Sihlongonyane and Jairus Mhlanga among others. REPS have national stars in decorated Sibusiso Nhlabatsi and Siyabonga Dlamini as well as ex-Way Inn star Xolani Mbingo.
The two former winners of the league meet at the Matsapha Police Academy in the game of the week fixture set for 2pm. REPS did not have a good start after they were stunned by an improved Stairs Pool Club, who paraded ex-Way Inn and national team star Zweli ‘Siziba’ Dlamini, among their new signings. They sit on position six with 12 points after five matches and they are three points behind Way Inn, who are third with 15 points. The latter are one point short of leaders Manzini Pool Club (MPC) and second-placed Malkerns.
A win for REPS could see them in the top four but it also depends on how fourth and fifth-placed Ludzeludze 1 and Stairs fare against Figaredo and Malkerns, respectively. Stairs and Malkerns will be playing a derby,

On Sunday, Ntontozo will play their pending fixture against Bhunya at home, while REPS will also be home to Ludzeludze 2 in yet another pending game.
