SWALIMO prayer to mobilise more membership

SITEKI – With the national elections drawing closer, about 34 members of the Swaziland Liberation Movement (SWALIMO) held a prayer service on Saturday.

7he prayer, which was held at 6itho Eelweni Inkhundla, was meant to moEilise more memEership in a Eid to elect someone under the inkhundla, who will pursue the party¶s democratic reforms in 3arliament

According to the Eranch¶s 7reasurer, /ucky 1tuli, the prayer¶s aim was to pray for peace under the current vola tile situation in the country they asked for *od¶s interventi­on to the country¶s political crisis +e said the prayer was not advertised on social media to ensure that it was not Elocked Ey the police

³:e planned this prayer to ask for *od¶s grace ahead of the upcoming elections

2ur memEers were excited when they heard their president address them :e are optimistic that people of 6ithoEelwe­ni will elect someone who will uphold their aspiration­s in the positions they are elected in,´ he said

In his address, 6imelane who¶s on self exile, urged the memEers to elect people who would emErace the party¶s oEjectives in the bucopho, indvuna and 03 6imelane urged the memEership to market the identified people who would pursue the party¶s aspiration­s 7he president said they should elect people who would put the people first at all times in their elected positions
