JOHANNESBURG - Lira recently celebrated another trip around the sun.
Taking to her socials, she shared her gorgeous photoshoot in a picturesque place. “Thank you for all the birthday wishes. I had a magical day! I was showered with so much love - thank you. Life is too short - we need to celebrate every day we are given,” she wrote.
In a separate post she shared a clip of moments to mark her last day before her birthday, reflecting on how blessed she is.
“This is my last day as a 43-year-old. I’m reflecting on the amount of fun I had in the last year. I spent it with loved ones, my family and my friends. There were no shows - I couldn’t work - so I was left with living life - happily. Thank you to all of you who prayed for me and kept me in your thoughts - I’m truly blessed - I love you all,” she captioned the post.
Kicking off the year, the musician updated her followers on her progress after suffering a stroke in April while in Germany.
