Nasty C finally meets Chris Brown
JOHANNESBURG - Nasty C is directly signed to the international record label Def Jam. A move which was meant to propel his music career from just a well-respected South African or African rapper to one that was meant to have international appeal. However, in the three years and counting, the rapper has been more of an up-and-coming international artist arguably than a bona fide international rapper.
So much so that just last year, Nasty C was on social media calling for US rappers who were interested in featuring him. Adding that he would do the feature for free as it meant that he would get exposure through the feature. Seemingly this has worked as it has meant that he has met one of the leading American R&B male artists.
Nasty C finally meets Chris Brown
Nasty C is currently in the United Kingdom according to his Instagram feed. While he took to his Instagram stories to ask his followers to suggest a tattoo artist go to in the country, it was his actual feed that got more attention. This is as he showed having met Chris Brown. The two met backstage at Chris Brown’s Under the Influence
UK tour stop.
Many believed the meet-up and photo opportunity was due to Nasty C’s freestyle on the popular YouTube channel On The Radar. As reported back in January 2023.
Nasty C has acquired international fame after collaborating with international stars and getting co-signed by them, as well as making appearances on popular media houses globally. His recent win was getting co-signed by RnB star Chris Brown on Instagram. The Call Me Everyday hitmaker posted Nasty C’s two-month-old freestyle on On the Radar Radio.
Nasty C expressed his excitement after getting Chris Brown’s stamp of approval for his freestyle on the popular American YouTube show. Nasty C rapped on Super Gremlin which is beat by US rapper Kodak Black. Chris Brown, shared a clip of Nasty’s performance and this made his entire week.
While it seems that many were happy for the Strings and Bling rapper to have finally met his idol, one person that seemed to want to damper than mood was none other than controversial entertainment commentator and regular podcast feature Nhlamulo ‘Nota’ Baloy.
