MBABANE – It is time to review the past season in the Hhohho Regional Pool Association (HRPA), which will have its first annual general meeting (AGM) on Sunday.
HRFA had been defunct for years, about over a decade due to power politics, which were, however, put to bed last year and elections for a new executive committee were held in Pigg’s Peak at Mhlatane High School. The Chairman, Terence ‘Xtra Luv’ Ginindza confirmed the AGM for this Sunday.
The meeting will once again be held at Mhlatane, where Ginindza and his executive committee were elected into office. HRFA is responsible for three branches being; Mbabane, Pigg’s Peak and Buhleni.
They all ran leagues in the branches and the winners are expected to be presented in this AGM if all goes according to plan. Ginindza, in a circular sent out to the teams and this publication, themed the AGM ‘Creating a suitable environment for pool development in the Hhohho Region’.
It is anticipated the meeting starts at 10am. “The association was established to formulate pool objectives and implement pool development programmes within the region. Pool structural reforms and development are always good for growth.
“We have created an administrative structure that will enhance the level of professionalism that we want to achieve. To achieve our goals, we are calling all teams in the Hhohho Region to the annual general meeting for a progress report and preparation 1)

He explained that this would enable the resumption of the league in Hhohho, where there is need for collective wisdom and sharing of ideas to resolve challenges facing pool in their region. Ginindza said they valued every member’s contribution towards developing the sport.
“It is then the duty of each member to always maintain stability within the association. We shall win as a team by simply practicing unity and respect. It is very important to understand that your role as a member is very important and shall have a positive impact in the association. We are responsible for our own destiny,” he said.
He also encouraged all clubs to attend without fail before also affirming the agenda. For any queries, Ginindza can be contacted on 7605 6472.
