SITEKI – The Young Buffaloes and Mbabane Swallows clash turned to be chaotic.

This was after a fan was stoned and ferried to Good Shepherd Hospital (GSCH) after he collapsed following a skirmish that ensued just before the end of the first half. The drama started when a Swallows fan was seen at Buffaloes stand.

The fan was chased by Buffaloes supporters and he ran for dear life towards the Swallows stand. Upon seeing one of their own being chased by the opposition fans, a handful of Swallows loyalists came to the their colleague’s rescue. That was when fans from both teams started hurling stones at each other. The said

“He was the star performer on the day. He won dead balls and also made Swallows to play.He also had a good first touch and it is safe to say he has settled well at Swallows.”

Swallows fan was hit by the stone in the head and he became unconsciou­s before paramedics and police officers ferried him into the ambulance and was later taken to the GSCH.
