MBABANE - Emerging local vocalist Zweli the Vocalist is set to launch his Extended Play (EP) next Friday at Gilgal Primary School Hall.
Zweli Msibi is a rising star from Timbutini, Man]ini. +e started singing at a very tender age.
+e grew up in a &hristian household, where he learned the art of singing and Tuickly skills as a vocalist.
+is debut single, titled ‘Ingoma’, was his breakthrough in the music industry, as he even got recognition from the MTN Bushfire 2023 edition, where he appeared in the Bushfire Firefly section. The hit song not only received an overwhelming response from his fans but also caught local television and radio stations’ developed his attention because they have airing it since it was released.
³After releasing my single, , was motivated to do more music, and since then , have been in the studio recording my upcoming album, which is titled µ, want to know you more’.

³This album features songs that are centred on love themes and relationships,” said Msibi. The EP will be launched at the end of this month. ³These songs in my EP aim to encourage people to take time and
get to know each other well before committing to a new relationship,” added Msibi.
The soulful singer, who is known for singing songs that touch the hearts of listeners, said he is overwhelmed by the feeling that he will finally be launching his songs. +e said, ³, am so e[cited to have this opportunity to host this launch, which will be the biggest launch in the country.”
The event will be headlined by Social Media Award winner Shinely *reen] and M Nation. Other supporting
acts will be Skuva the 'ancer, Phelisto :e]], *T, and Mshokobe]i, to name a few.
According to the main act on the night, Shinely *reen], her fans must e[pect an electrifying performance from her as she is bringing her best song collection to this event. ³, am so happy to be part of this launch, as it is going to give me a glorious chance to meet my fans who hardly see me perform because they are from rural areas and they hardly attend our events,” she said.
