Ngwenya Glass MTB on July 8
MBABANE – The wait, for one of Eswatini’s challenging off-road cycling races, is almost over.
That is the Ngwenya Glass Mountain Bike (MTB) Challenge that happens annually in the Kingdom of Eswatini. It will yet again take centre stage at the mountains and valleys that surround Ngwenya Glass on July 8, 2023. According to Cathy Prettejohn, one of the event organisers, Mountain Bike Challenge is about charity and joining together families and fun lovers.
“We will be donating to three charity groups in the Kingdom of Eswatini and also the event is a family fun day for families to join together and exercise,” she said. Cathy also mentioned that the day was all about supporting local vendors as there would be different stalls showcasing different products. Worth mentioning is that Ngwenya Glass will also be having its clearance sale that will only happen on July 8.
events of the day will include a wheel chair challenge and 25km family ride that consists of one loop of the route. Also on the ‘menu’ is 50km classic that consists of 21 loops of the 25km route; the 75km marathon that consists of three layers of the 25km route is not for the faint-hearted, and

It will be followed by entertainment and refreshments. For the non-early birds, late registration will take place on the day of the event at Ngwenya Glass
