Hlobsile Nomcebo Vilane (Lubombo)

Who is Hlobsile Vilane?

I am a 44-year-old businesswoman from Mhlume Inkhundla where I have resided for over 40 years. I attended my high school at Mhlume High and completed at Mbuluzi High. I am involved in business and sub-contracted at RES property department and have served in many committees within the Mhlume area. I have been serving at Thembelisha school committee and Mhlume primary school.

What is your mission if elected into Parliament?

I have been involved in child development in the Mhlume area and mostly youth activities. Looking at the country’s development, I want to concentrate on childhood development and the youth, to ensure that I empower them to be confident at an infancy stage, as in line with the saying that catch them young. I will concentrate also to legislative framework that will assist woman and girl children against gender-based violence. I want to introduce and craft with agricultural development at an early stage. Currently, the country has only one high school that is an agricultural school, which is Lusundvu Academy at Mafutseni. I want to ensure that once I am in Parliament, some of the schools’ curriculum in the Lubombo Region fully introduce agriculture, since Lubombo is rich with agriculture initiatives. This will help the country catch up with the industrial evolution, where the world is moving into artificial intelligence. I will also be involved in legislations that will allow the introduction of adulthood to be 16 years to allow the children to own businesses at an early stage to boost the economy of the country. I am looking forward to support Lubombo MPs for the next five years in childhood development project in the region.
