Speaking to the Eswatini News earlier this week, Msweli said the objective of expanding the Vuvulane Food Market was to create an amazing dining experience in the Lubombo Region, which, he said, would be putting great emphasis on local organic fresh produce. He said featuring prominently within the building will be a showcase of his design and art business referred to as Jerempaul, revealing that it will display world-class design, art and general lifestyle.

Proudly, Msweli declared: “It really will be Eswatini’s design and art mecca. The products that the youth make will also be sold there as I will be commissioning a lot of work for them to create for retail. The hope is to complete the building next year and I do still need significant amount of investment to pull it through. As with everything I have done in Vuvulane, I am sure I will secure all the funds.

The young businessman also spoke fondly about the new studio that the Vuvulane youth will be using at the SEDCO Vuvulane business premises, pointing out that he spent several months in last year and early this year training 20 Vuvulane youths on art and design. SEDCO stands for the Local Business Trade Assistance. Small Enterprise Development Company, offering local traders with information and expertise on entrepreneurship. It operates under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade led by Minister Manqoba Khumalo.

“Thank you to the favourable agreements that we have had with SEDCO, the youth will be able to now produce all the products that I was teaching them to make,” he stated.

Msweli also confirmed that on Tuesday, he hosted the EU ambassador, whom, he said, came to see some of the projects that he has been involved in and to appreciate the impact the EU funding has had in the community.

“I am always in gratitude to all of our international partners who have consistently championed the development vision that I have for Vuvulane.”

On the other hand, Msweli said it was an honour for him to host the Deputy Prime Minister, Thulisile Dladla, within the premises of Mgidzangcunu also situated in Vuvulane.

“Her quick response and practical approach to social ills that have encroached our community has given great hope. We were able to tour the sites with her and we did agree on approaches and solutions to the problems. I will be working closely with her office so that we can all mutually achieve a fair and just community in Eswatini.”
