MBABANE – They are not just about business, but they also have the best interest of their customers at heart.

Build it Plus Mbabane, in collaboration with the Municipal Council of Mbabane and the Ministry of Health, held a wellness day at the entity’s parking lot and customers were exposed to multiple health services while going about with their shopping.

The health services included malaria and cancer screening, environmental health services, COVID-19 screening and vaccination, HIV testing, family planning, mental health, PrEP, blood donation and many more. Customers and the general public were attended to by health workers stationed at the premises of the entity and also taking advantage of the health services were the employees of Build it Plus.

Walter Mohale, an employee at Build it Plus who underwent First Aid training, revealed that as much as they were in the business of building homes, they were also particular about the health of their customers, hence the need to have them build on it too. “We deemed it fit to have such an initiative where customers, our staff and the general public could be exposed to different health services. It is of utmost importance to us as a business to ensure that our customers and staff members are healthy because that transpires to growth in all ends,” he said.

It is worth mentioning that the customers were not only handed free health services, but they were also treated to discounted prices in the store as well.
