Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia will hold a tripartite meeting with China and Australia to determine the next direction in the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370. Malaysian deputy Transport Minister, Datuk Abdul Aziz Kaprawi, said the meeting was expected to decide on the next step in searching for the missing aircraft, which had previously centred on a 120,000sq km area of the southern Indian Ocean.

“All decisions related to the location for the search will be decided at the meeting,” he told reporters at the Parliament lobby on Wednesday, although he did not say when or where the meeting would be held. Mr Abdul Aziz was commenting on a report by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB), which now believes the wreckage is not within the priority search area covered. He also said the Ministry could not comment on the report until the meeting was held. The Star
