Savuto releases new single ‘Misunderstood’
Suva: Have you ever been misunderstood? Well listen to Savuto Vakadewavosa’s new song.
Fiji’s Vude Prince has released a new single titled Misunderstood in collaboration with Ritendra Prasad or DJ Ritendra.
“DJ Ritendra, is currently a Masters student at the University of the South Pacific but has a passion for music.
“We met couple of years ago online and we agreed to write about this topic misunderstood.
“For me personally, besides the Vude, I really like to write songs that people can relate to like real life situations hence the song. “I had an experience of being ridiculed, people drawing conclusions and being judged for things that I did but people did not know the full story.
“This for me was a healing process from the writing to producing the song to now finally coming out with the video which premiered on
Fiji One last Saturday and then on FBC TV.
“When you are being misunderstood don’t let it get to you, use it to become a better and bigger person. “So for this song moving forward if anyone feels at times that it’s just them against the world then this song is for us.”
He said when the video of the song was released they received mixed reactions.
The singer/song writer has plans to release a few albums and a concert later this year.
