Santa Clause came early this year to drop the brides and grooms in Fiji an early present for Christmas.
Glamorous Occasions brings to you a wide variety of themed wedding cards such as the peacock, box wedding invitations, cards with carry bags, fabric wedding cards and the most popular trendy laser cut wedding cards.
“It started off with a click of a button. We created a Facebook page and uploaded our designs,” said Riddhi Damodar, Creative Director and owner of Glamarous Occasions.
The custom made designs ranges from $3 and includes printing. “We have varieties for every bride and groom. We were confident we are bringing something Fiji does not have at the moment. We add new designs every week and all of this is now available in Fiji,” she said. After meeting many couples in the past few weeks, Ms Damodar and her team of four have seen a confusion in how much budget a couple should allocate for their wedding cards.
“Since there are not good quality designs available locally, the couples often compromise with designs. The mindset that the wedding invitations are not as important as other things such as venue, Décor and so on is changing now.” “Couples must keep in mind that wedding invitations are the first thing your guest will receive. It is the first impression of your wedding and you should not compromise in any way,” said Ms Damodar. Ms Damodar believes wedding plans are important as not only does it help couples know the number of guests to expect for the remainder of the big day, but will also help them develop a plan as to who they wish to celebrate with. “My family and people close to me knew one day I will be part of Wedding Industry. The experience was overwhelming and support and response have been Amazing.” Although the business had just begun its operation in January this year, Ms Damodar is glad that the response has been very positive.
“It promises to its customer’s uniqueness, convenience and significant cost savings during planning, coordinating and executing wedding requirements,” she said.
