The Imdad Ali coached- 4R Electrical Ba side are expected to bounce back in the second leg of the Pillay’s Garment Champion versus Champion at Chruchill Park, Lautoka, today.

After their 1-0 loss to General Machinery Lautoka football team on Friday night, Ba will now try to score a 2-0 win to secure the CvC title for the 19th time. If Ba win today by 1-0 then a third leg will be played.

Ba coach Imdad Ali said he has faith in his players to beat Lautoka today. “Majority of the national reps are in the Lautoka side but we are expected to make changes in our lineup,” Ali said.

The former school teacher was not happy with the standard of referee- ing during their first encounter. “We will go back to the drawing board. There was no weakness in the side but we will play defensive football.”

Defender Marika Madigi joined Ba since last month after returning from Canada.

“Marika has been missing for some time but he is now back in camp,” Ali said.

Ba will be banking on Meli Codro, Praneel Naidu, Malakai Tiwa and veteran Kiniviliame Naika. Ba suffered a setback when defender Remuera Tekiate pulled out of the series after the death of his father. The Ba football team visited Tekiate’s residence in Vatukoula yesterday to present their reguregu. Today’s clash kics off at 3pm.
