Tupoutua’h Baravilala Appointed to ATS Board of Directors
The Government has appointed Tupoutua’h Baravilala to the Board of Directors of Air Terminal Services (Fiji) Pte Ltd.
The appointment was made on Monday, February 19, 2018 and took immediate effect.
Ms Baravilala was welcomed by her fellow Board members at the ATS quarterly meeting on Thursday, 22 February.
Ms Baravilala is also a Government-appointed board member of the Fiji Ports Corporation Limited (FPCL), and is the Focal Point for the Fijian Government in its Digital Government Transformation (DGT) programme, a collaboration with Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE) to digitise Government public services through mobile applications.
In 2014, she was involved in the establishment of the Tertiary Education Scholarships and Loans Board (TSLB).
She is also secretary to, and a member of, the ITC Steering Committee. Among her other work, Ms Baravilala was involved in the finalisation of the revised edition of the laws of Fiji in 2016.
She is a graduate of the University of the South Pacific, where she attained her Bachelor of Laws in 2011 and completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2012. She is a practicing barrister and solicitor.
