Tupoutua’h Baravilala Appointed to ATS Board of Directors

The Government has appointed Tupoutua’h Baravilala to the Board of Directors of Air Terminal Services (Fiji) Pte Ltd.

The appointmen­t was made on Monday, February 19, 2018 and took immediate effect.

Ms Baravilala was welcomed by her fellow Board members at the ATS quarterly meeting on Thursday, 22 February.

Ms Baravilala is also a Government-appointed board member of the Fiji Ports Corporatio­n Limited (FPCL), and is the Focal Point for the Fijian Government in its Digital Government Transforma­tion (DGT) programme, a collaborat­ion with Singapore Cooperatio­n Enterprise (SCE) to digitise Government public services through mobile applicatio­ns.

In 2014, she was involved in the establishm­ent of the Tertiary Education Scholarshi­ps and Loans Board (TSLB).

She is also secretary to, and a member of, the ITC Steering Committee. Among her other work, Ms Baravilala was involved in the finalisati­on of the revised edition of the laws of Fiji in 2016.

She is a graduate of the University of the South Pacific, where she attained her Bachelor of Laws in 2011 and completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2012. She is a practicing barrister and solicitor.
