Duo Aim To Make Deans Debut
Ronish Chand aims to become the first Indo Fijian to represent Ba Provincial Free Bird Institute in the Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union Deans Trophy competition.
“I just want to do my best. I know there is a lot of work for me to do in terms of my training and sharpening up my skills,” Chand said.
“My immediate aim is to play in the Deans Trophy competition and work my way up until I reach the top. Like majority Fijian boys , I want to represent Fiji some day in 7s rugby.” His teammate and Japanese native Yuto Nishimura is also vying for a spot in their school’s team.
