Commemorating 40 years of peacekeeping

TRIBUTE TO FALLEN PEACEKEEPERS: The Sugar City yesterday hosted our peacekeeping officers to commemorate 40 years of peacekeeping in Lautoka yesterday. The soldiers marched through the city accompanied by the Fiji Police band and were cheered on by the onlookers who lined the streets of Lautoka. Minister for Youth and Sport Laisenia Tuitubou (pictured) also paid tribute to the fallen officers with the celebration theme: “Fiji Sacrifice for Global Peace” at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
