Georgia to decide on line-up
The Georgia rugby team are still assessing the players that will take the field against the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians at the ANZ Stadium, Suva on Saturday.
Speaking to SUNsports yesterday, Georgia rugby manager Irakli Khundadze said they are yet to confirm anything despite welcoming the return of three key players from injury.
“Our squad has a combination of players that are currently playing in Europe,” he said.
The Georgians took time from training as they visited Draiba Primary School where they were welcomed by students and teachers. Khundadze said it was an honour for the team to visit the school and he wished the students well in their studies.
Draiba Primary School head teacher Laisiasi Tuira said it was a privilege for them to host the team.
“Having taking part in kaji rugby, the arrival of these international teams will definitely motivate our students on where they want to be in future. The children will be inspired and learn a lot as well.”
