The annual Bougainville Cup rugby challenge match started at QEB ground Nabua on Wednesday with a bang, literally. To signal the start of the game, some shots were fired. This is an annual tradition. The Bougainville Cup is the most prestigious and fiercely contested rugby trophy at QEB. The current holder is the 3FIR, which successfully defended the trophy against challengers the Force Training Group (FTG) team.
