Colgate Rep Amazed at Students’ Talents

The Colgate-Palmolive team were amazed at the level of originalit­y and talent shown through their promotion, My Bright Smile Global Art Contest.

Of the 1400 entries they received from primary school students, only 12 were chosen the winners in different categories. Speaking at Colgate Palmolive (Fiji) Limited office in Wailekutu, Lami on Thursday, Dr Naina Kau said they were happy at the show of talent by the students.

Dr Kau is the profession­al relation and community programme co-ordinator for Colgate Palmolive.

The entries were judged on originalit­y, creativity and best rendering of the theme; ‘Why My Bright Smile is Important’.

The top picks will be sent to Australia where they would be combined with the Australian and New Zealand winning entries.

THE WINNING PRIZES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

Global winners will receive for their schools cash prize valued at US$500 (about FJ1000) and recognitio­n in the Colgate’s 2019 My Bright Smile Global calendar.

Global winners will receive themselves cash prizes valued at US$250 (about FJ$500)

The country winners will receive cash prize valued at FJ$150 for themselves

Schools with the most entries for each country will receive cash prize valued at FJ$300.

The top 40 winners will receive a Colgate backpack with a Colgate gift pack.
