BLK has donated over $1000 of sports apparel to the officials and players in the annual Fiji Bitter Disavu Sevens tournament. The tournament is now set for October 13 with 24 teams from around the country that will be participating at the Naluwai District School ground, Naitasiri.

BLK commercial and marketing director Liga Gukisuva said yesterday they were delighted to be part of the event and be given the opportunity to showcase their products at the ground during the tournament.

“We are confident our apparel and footwear will take the winners beyond the Disavu 7s and into greater heights during their rugby career,” Gukisuva said.

“We will be providing special prizes to the best player of the tournament and also the top scorer.

“We are very much looking forward to the day.”

Tournament organiser Ledua Ataogo thanked BLK for their supported toward the tournament.

“We would like to thank BLK for the much-needed sports apparel and also to our sponsors Pacific Beverages for their constant support throughout the past two years.

“Teams are urged to come in numbers and register early to help support the development of rugby and also raise funds for the upgrade of the Naivunicini District School ground.”

The tournament was moved to October 13 as a request from the sponsors.
