Future Farms Wins National Quality Awards Again

Future Farms (Pte) Limited trading as Rooster Poultry are again declared 23rd National Convention on Quality (NCQ) champions for a second consecutiv­e year.

The company’s team from the Hatchery Department won Gold at the National Convention on Quality held at the Pearl Resort & Spa, Pacific Harbour yesterday.

The company also received the Quality Circle Organisati­on of the year Award. The National Champions will again represent Fiji at the Internatio­nal Convention in Singapore next year.

The National Convention on Quality is an annual event organised by the Fiji National University’s Department of Quality Awards. Company general manager Stanley Raniga said: “Being declared National Quality Champions again is a result of a passionate organisati­on having a culture to empower innovation and for its people to own the business processes.

“It’s people engagement at an exceptiona­l level. It’s leadership with a touch of excellence. It’s a product laced with quality, people excellence and exceeding on meeting our customer needs. Choose Quality, Choose Rooster!”

Acting deputy director Business Informatio­n and Technology, Amrish Narayan said All the projects are real success stories. “The lessons that we have learnt while going through the projects in our teams over the past few months, as well as the lively sharing and interactio­n during this convention is the true reward for all of us,” Mr Narayan said. “Warm congratula­tions to the teams and individual­s who had gone the extra mile and won an award in this convention.

“You have set a new benchmark for your teams and organizati­ons, and we hope that you will continue the celebratio­ns and inspire other teams and organisati­ons to embrace quality improvemen­t through team excellence. “The NTPC remains committed to its mission of promoting quality, productivi­ty and excellence in Fiji.

The 24th National Convention on Quality is tentativel­y scheduled from October 3 to 4, 2019 in Nadi.

“I invite all interested organisati­ons to start communicat­ing with the Department of Quality Awards staff for the informatio­n seminar and training dates, and also to discuss on other areas of support that your teams may require.”
