Fiji Airways Fijian Drua rep Eremasi Radrodro scores against Brisbane City. They defeated the Australian team 66-5 at Churchill Park in Lautoka on September 8, 2018.
The Fiji Airways Fijian Drua players must all be commended for the team effort in the one sided affair against Brisbane City at Churchill Park, Lautoka yesterday.
Team captain Mosese Voka showed why he is the leader of the pack and was outstanding alongside the combination of halfback Frank Lomani and first –five eighth Alivereti Veitokani. Lomani and Veitokani displayed their skills to the utmost with their set up of all tries scored.
Here’s how we rate our Fiji Airways Fijian Drua.
1 - Joeli Veitayaki, 2 – Ratunaisa Navuma, 3 – Mosese Ducivaki The front row certainly held their own against their opposition in the scrums-8;
4 – Peni Naulago -Played a good game and was a stalwart in defence-8 5 – Albert Tuisue - Also had a grand game and was a contributing factor in defence-8;
6. Peni Raidre – Was a terrier at the breakdowns and stole two crucial balls- 8;
7. Mosese Voka- Fittingly awarded man of the match for his untiring effort and guidance and capped off his performance with the last try of the match-9
8. Eremasi Radrodro- the go-to man when the Drua needed to get over the advantage line. His defence was also unrelenting -8
9. Frank Lomani– his knowledge of what to do and his reading of the game was the driving force behind Fiji’s attacks –8;
10. Alivereti Veitokani - Certainly left his opposite and more renowned opposite Quade Cooper more of a spectator throughout the match-9;
11. Levani Kurumudu –This winger is fast becoming a player to watch and will certainly rise as the competition continues. His hattrick showed the devastating finishing power he possesses-9;
12 Cyril Reece – Reece produce a good game both in defence and attack and more than once gained good metres with his runs -8;
13. Poasa Waqanibau – the tough centre also made some great runs over the advantage line and was always on hand in the Drua’s numerous attacks -8;
14. Jona Sawailau-Showed his pace on a few occasions but was always reliable on defence-8.
15 Apisalome Waqatabu – 9 – Was the extra man on attack and provided a sterling performance and a good kicking game -8
