The Kamal Swamy coached Lautoka Blues’ received a major boost from Jack’s of Fiji as they continue with their campaign for the 2018 Pacific Cup. Lautoka football who is the Courts IDC and Vodafone National League champion side were handed over a sponsorshi­p worth of $4061 for its kits.

LFA secretary Muni Rajan said, “This is a real boost for the team and this partnershi­p has reduces burden of finance for the team and more energy will be led to do business on the field.”

“this is a historic day for LFC as this is the first time to for merchandis­e. We have been in talks with Jacks for almost a year now and we appreciate their support. We are also here to promote Fijian made product. This is a win-win situation.” He said the side had done wonders for the people of Lautoka and more support was appropriat­e in their future games. Jacks of Fiji marketing executive Biu Tadranu said, “We are very honoured to associate with Lautoka Football for their Pacific Cup campaign. They have a rich history in football since 1934 and it is our aim to see that other sports are growing as well.”

The side face neighbours Nadi, Australia’s Sydney All Stars, NZFFI All Stars and USA ALL Stars in Pool B.

Pool A has Suva, Rewa, Western Sydney, Auckland Ba and Team Melbourne.

NZFFI All Stars won last year’s title defeating USA All Stars 2-1 in the final. The side will depart for Sydney this morning.
