Children Now Given More Opportunity To Study: Voss
The Executive General Manager, Fiji Link and Group Corporate, International and Government Affairs Shaenaz Voss has reminded parents that they have been given more opportunity to put their children in school compared to the past. Ms Voss made this comment among 130 students who graduated with certificates of attainment on Thursday from Lil Champs Preschool and Daycare in Nadi. Ms Voss said: “Your children can help reach the vision, make even more progress and once again make Fiji the way the world should be and they cannot do it alone. They need your help to lead them through every step of their journey.”
“Children are entitled to be taken seriously.
“They have the right to be treated with tenderness and respect. “They should be allowed to grow into whoever they are meant to be. “The unknown person inside each of them is the hope for the future,” she said.
“Parents, I know that everything you do is for your children. After kindergarten, there is a school waiting for your child. This life requires a lot more attention from you as parents and guardians.” Ms Vosssaid: “You have to help them with their work, provide an environment easy to their goals, development product physically and spiritually. “You have to help look them to become a better human being. “Teach them the role of veilomani which we all know so well.” Meanwhile, also awarded were three teachers to further their studies in Early Childhood Education. Among the three, one teacher was awarded a round trip to Hong Kong.
