Saneem: FEO Team My Inspiration
Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem says the success of the 2018 General Election was through team work. Mr Saneem was recognised for his Outstanding Service and Contribution towards the Successful Completion of the 2018 General Election. It was during the FEO awards night at the Tanoa Plaza in Suva on Wednesday.
Mr Saneem said he had a team whom he was grateful for.
“This is the first awards night for FEO. Our success is measured at the end of an election and that is after we plan, execute and have a successful outcome,” Mr Saneem said.
“I have an excellent group of peo- ple who have taken great ownership and have taken all the projects with commitment and it has shown in the great outcome.
“They deserve to be acknowledged. They have been my drive and inspiration.
“I value every member of the team. We had great delivery and that has always been the focus of FEO.” Mr Saneem said they were transparent from day one.
“Everything that is in the social media is unverified facts. A lot of this is coming out because the results which are natural for an election as those who lose will find ways to blame the system or everybody else,” he said.
“FEO has shown transparency as the results were available in every- body’s palm at any time that they wish to see. Election is over and it is time to focus on their normal life and go to poll again in the next four years.”
