The Navy rugby side will face Qauia Red in the final clash of the Suva Rugby

Union’s Koroturaga Championship on June 29 at Albert Park in Suva.

Navy beat Fiji Ports 26-18 in the first semi-final while Qauia Red defeated Army Red 20-14 in the second match at the Nasova Police grounds yesterday.

Navy team manager Osea Natuva told SUNsports they are looking forward to win their first Koroturaga Championship title. “Navy displayed a much-improved performance compared to the quarters last week,” Natuva said.

“Despite the win, the team needs to work on their kicking and reduce the number of penalties. “This is also the first time we are qualifying for the final of the Koroturaga Championship and we will try our best to win the title.”

Meanwhile, the Escott Shield championship semifinal will be played next Wednesday where Army Green will take on Fire/ Wardens in the first match while Police Blue will battle against Fresh’et Navy Blue at the Nasova grounds.
