Identities revealed in Tahiti child sex abuse case: Report
Papeete: The identity of the four sex offenders in French Polynesia sentenced to prison for their contact with child prostitutes has been revealed. The four were last week convicted for sexual abuse of minors and given jail terms of up to 30 months, with up to 18 months suspended.
Tahiti-infos reported that among the four, who are between 54 and 74 years old, is the former director of French Polynesia’s Youth and Sports Institute, Antonio Arai. A businessman, Leo Le Prado, who is a repeat offender, has been given a 30-month sentence, of which 18 are suspended.
