Thumbs Up for Sai Prema Foundation
Students, staff members of Montfort Boys Town get free medical clinic.
The Sai Prema Foundation Fiji has been praised for its “noble endeavours” as far as medical services are concerned. The commendation comes after 103 residents and staff members of Montfort Boys Town from Veisari were hosted to free medical checkups by the medical team at the Sri Sathya Sanjeevani Medical Centre in Nasese, Suva, last Saturday. Montfort Boys Town director Brother Jim Madvana said: “And I wish more of these medical checkups are organised for the students before they graduate and leave the institution.”
The medical team comprised of the Sanjeevani Medical Centre staff and volunteers. This special medical clinic was dedicated to serving the students of the institution, at the invitation of the Sai Prema Foundation Fiji. The foundation runs the charitable medical centre, in association with the Ministry of
Health. The foundation’s medical camp co-ordinator, Namrata Tappoo, said the special clinic was a wonderful success.
The medical services available on the day included:

The students were given a health and wellness talk, and a ‘Gift of Life’ free children’s heart surgeries awareness video was shown to them. All the students, staff members and volunteers were served lunch after the clinic. A first aid kit was also presented to Montfort Boys Town. Free bus transport from and to Montfort Boys Town was also provided.
