Over the next 12 months the Fiji Roads Authority will focus on the repairs of the busiest jetties in Fiji. This was raised by the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Disaster Management and Meteorological Services, Jone Usamate, while responding to questions by Opposition Member Simione Rasova on the status of improving jetties. He said the FRA works would include immediate improvement of the Natovi and Nabouwalu jetties, with the provision of street lighting, improved access and waiting facilities.

There will also be repairs in Savusavu to improve docking. He said there were investigations and detailed designed works in Koro, Makogai, Moala, Wainiyabia and Vunisea in Kadavu.
