Lengthy posts on social media about visa scams seem to be the norm nowadays. The only catch is that some of these so-called victims of the bogus agents are actually willing participants. They pay high fees to fast track the process of getting visas and when that turns sour, then they quickly claim that they were victims of the fraudulent process. BTL is well aware that visas are only issued by the respective country’s high commissions in the country and they have the final say on who to give a visa to. So, it is only wise for people to lodge their visa forms with the right agencies and not with individuals who claim to have direct contact with the embassies. It’s high time that people digest this fact that individual people don’t issue visas.
