Reverend Naivalu is deputy secretary
The newly-elected Methodist Church in Fiji and Rotuma deputy secretary, Reverend Iliesa Naivalu, says he is ready to serve the church and congregation.
He thanked delegates of the annual Methodist Church Conference (Bose Ko Viti) for having faith in him to be the deputy secretary.
Reverend Naivalu has been a church minister for 37 years. He has served in many areas like:
2007 Assistant secretary for Christian citizenship and social services with the Methodist Church in Fiji and Rotuma
2012 Parish minister Chadstone St Marks Uniting Church, Melbourne
2015 Methodist Church in Fiji’s Secretary for Christian Citizenship and Social Services.
2016 Methodist Church of Fiji secretary for Christian Citizenship and Social Service
2018 - Methodist Church clergy and general secretary for the Fiji Council of Churches.
The post was previously held by the late Reverend Jeremaia Waqainabete.
