Things to con­sider about drone own­er­ship in Fiji

Let’s face it, op­er­at­ing a drone is ex­hil­a­rat­ing, but it can be dan­ger­ous to oth­ers. As such, the Civil Avi­a­tion Au­thor­ity of Fiji (CAAF) has guide­lines and re­stric­tions on drone use in Fiji, some of which are : Reg­is­tra­tion- You have to reg­is­ter with CAAF

Max­i­mum alti­tude - Flights are per­mit­ted up to a height of 61 me­tres (200 feet)

Prox­im­ity to Air­ports - To do­mes­tic air­ports, a dis­tance of 3 kilo­me­tres is to be kept. At in­ter­na­tional air­ports, a dis­tance of 5 kilo­me­tres must be taken into ac­count.

Pri­vacy - Re­spect oth­ers pri­vacy when fly­ing your drone.
