Could a CCTV camera outside a supermarket near Nadi Airport hold some clues to the mysterious deaths of five people whose bodies were found at Nausori Highlands on Monday? Or could some people who may have been around the supermarket area seen something, which may provide the Police investigating team with much-needed information?
As Police continued their investigations last night, the deaths of the five people remained a mystery. Dead are Nirmal Kumar, 63, a carpenter, his wife Usha Kumar, 54, their daughter Nileshni Kumar, 34, and her daughters, Sana, 11, and Samarah, 8.
Their bodies were found at Celekuta, a sightseeing area between Yavuna and Tubenasolo at Nausori Highlands in Nadi on Monday morning.
Samaira Kumar (Miracle Baby), who turns one-year-old on Saturday, was found alive near her relatives bodies, which were lying some distance away from each other in the treacherous mountain region. The toddler was at Lautoka Hospital last night in the care of medical staff and her mother, who arrived in the country from overseas after learning about the suspected homicides.
