Meghan Markle married Prince Harry in a lavish ceremony at St George’s Chapel in Windsor in May 2018.

The American former actress quickly became one of the most popular members of the Royal Family with millions of fans across the world.

But the Duchess of Sussex has also received a reputation for breaking protocols and doing things her own way. When Meghan and Harry became parents in May this year, the couple revealed the news in an untraditional way - by posting the joyous news on Instagram.

And ever since little Archie Harrison, who was born on May 6, joined the world it has become clear Meghan is eager to keep his life out of the public eye.

At the young tot’s christening in July, royal fans were kept out of the loop, as the couple chose to keep the event private. Usually, the Royal Family share big events like these with the public.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently faced criticism over after it emerged they were flying private jets to lavish holiday destination, despite being vocal about the dangers of global warming.

The Sussex family took four private jets in just 11 days not long after they urged to public to “make a difference” by living a sustainable life. A royal expert has now revealed has now said the couple probably made

the choice to fly private because of their obsession with privacy.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk: “They are pilloried for taking private jets on holiday when in reality they had little choice given their obsession, rightly, with privacy.”

He also added the couple “feel restricted by conventional royal life,” just like Harry’s late mother Princess Diana did. Mr Fitzwilliams said: “The Sussex Brand has unique global reach, their aim undoubtedly is to champion various causes, for Harry it’s Sentebale and Invictus, for Meghan female empowerment and diversity, for them both mental health together with the Cambridges.

“There is vast global interest in them, their contacts with top celebrities are amazing, they have a marvellous way of working the crowds at home and abroad. “Meghan has a huge influence on fashion and the fascination with Archie is endless. Diana is clearly their inspiration.

“This leads inevitably to the reports that they might spend an extended time abroad, possibly in their roles with the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust or even in the USA.

“Any extended stay abroad would have huge security costs and we are unaware of their plans for Archie’s future.

“This is obviously the way it is heading. It will raise questions as to what their role in the UK actually is as opposed what they want it to be. It will be exciting as well as perilous to see what happens as they do things their way.”
